Passed Certification Today *Yay*. Have a quick question about video(rules).

Hello, Mods,

Just today our Skill (Story Stream) passed certification, after being rejected for a couple of times (because of UI issues with on Echo Spot devices). We're so glad that we passed the certification in time.

The question:
Our video is a simple quick demo using 'Echo device' (no display). Going through other discussions, I know that we can't update the video for the competition. And because our video demo is using an 'Echo device' would our participation be affected in any way?

Bit of background for context:
We only learned about the challenge 3-days prior to the deadline on the 19th Jan. And worked our behinds-off to learn and implement APL in time to submit for certification before the deadline (22nd Jan).

We made a real quick video with Echo device as we didn't have access to an Alexa device with a display. Just wanted to make it through the gates in time.

    Hi Shred!

    First, super happy to hear that you passed certification. Second, you're correct about not being able to provide a new video for judging. Lots of participants didn't have screened devices so no problem about that in the demo video.

    If you'd like, you can link to a new video on your project page. This wouldn't be the one the judges saw, but it would be publicly visible to everyone else.
