Rules confusion

Hi,

On the Alexa blog it states "Please note that your skill must use APL and include at least one APL document. Skills that use the display interface or include any display templates will disqualify. To disable the display interface, go to the skill developer portal, select your skill, select the Interfaces section in the Build tab and turn off the Display interface"

My skill used to have display templates and I am implementing APL. Will I be disqualified for not removing display templates from the skill as a fallback for devices that don't have APL support. I don't want to remove the multimodal support from devices that don't support APL but based on that description I'm worried it will disqualify me?
